Vanishing Point - Carine Senior High School

Vanishing Point reveals its internal structure, utilising negative space to draw attention to wave patterns in nature and links to mathematics.  As light changes during the day reflections and shadows within the sculpture create dynamic patterns of light and shade. A visual language of slices enables the artwork to change in appearance when viewed from different vantage points. As viewers move around the sculpture they will arrive at a point where the artwork seems to almost vanish..
