Flow - LeisurePark Balga

The design of ‘Flow’ has been based on movement; movement of the human body through water, movement of people in the aquatic centre and implied visual movement (moiré effect) as the viewer walks around the artwork and views sculpture from various angles. Slender crisscrossing poles reference the native flora of the area called Xanthorrhoea or 'Balga' after which the suburb and leisure centre are named.
