Flourish - Fitz Apartments

Patterns relating to the idea of home and domestic living spaces have provided the theme for this wall based lighting artwork. The artwork takes the form of sculptural 'wallpaper' with sinuous native plants tracing out damask and filigree-like patterns delicately across the wall. Fabricated from laser cut aluminium and artificial plants the artwork is both textural and graphic. By night artwork elements are back-lit to create a colourful glowing effect on the wall during evening hours. LEDs are programmed to slowly change hue providing interest and variety for viewers.
