Connections - Aubin Grove Train Station

A wind-break artwork screen designed to protect the railway station’s western portal from the prevailing weather.  Framework designed as a single-piece and hot-dip galvanised for long life protection.  The tessellated pattern of folded, perforated aluminium panels has bays of identical size and shape to reduce fabrication costs.  Randomness is introduced by colouring the folded panels differently from a palette of four colours. Occasionally, a panel is left unperforated for additional variety.
